Dr. Maroun Kassab will be moderating Session 5 of the Arab Architects Awards at Seaside Arena in Beirut on Saturday October 27 , 2018. Session 5 is dedicated to religious buildings.
The Arab Architects Awards is an international competition that highlights the best projects designed and executed by Arab architects around the world, over the past 8 years. The Award was initiated jointly by the Association of Arab Architects and the Order of Engineers & Architects in Lebanon in 2018.The first edition will be held in Beirut in October 2018, and thereafter in a different Arab country, every two years.
The event will take place over three days at the Seaside Exhibition Center in Beirut, Lebanon, on October 25-26-27, 2018; and will feature a presentation of 35 projects, distributed over 9 different categories, before a jury of Arab and International architects and academics.
This event will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, and for the recognition of one major architectural figure in the Arab world. In addition, this event will provide a platform to feature a selection of architecture projects from the Schools of Architecture in the host country. The event will also host a number of exhibitors dealing with architecture, architectural products, construction industry, new technologies, and real estate development.
